We were in Rutland to visit friends May 20-21. When we arrived Sallie Gill greeted us warmly and offered us one of two suites. Both were very large with queen beds. We chose a suite with a separate sitting room and dressing area. It was really lovely and very nice New England furniture. There was an excellent new big screen tv with Direct TV. While we unpacked Sally brought us a plate of cookies and lemonade.
The weather was unusually warm but Sally told us the rooms would stay cool and she was right! It got to 85 on our second day but the room and the whole house stayed wonderfully cool. The other parts of the house are very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast each morning was excellent. We told Sally when we would like to eat and she then made our breakfast to order and it was fresh and hot and tasty.
The property is more than four acres that you can walk around and it is beautifully maintained. When we visit Rutland again we would absolutely stay at the Antique Mansion again.
